Arukah Sanctuary Day Centre

For nearly a decade  Arukah Sanctuary has been a welcoming haven for older adults in Dudley, offering a supportive and engaging environment for those who may struggle to leave their homes. Our day centre provides a warm and inclusive space for individuals to connect with others, participate in a variety of activities, and enjoy a range of social experiences.

To ensure accessibility, we offer transportation to and from the centre, as well as a delicious 2-course midday meal and refreshments throughout the day. Our caring staff are always available to provide assistance and support, and we take the time to discuss each individual's needs and preferences with them and their families before offering a place at our centre.

Many of our guests are referred to us by other agencies, and we are proud to work in partnership with local authorities to support attendance. Whether you're looking for a new social outlet or need additional support, we invite you to explore the possibilities at Arukah Sanctuary. Our pricing are £30 per day.  Tuesdays-Fridays -10am to 4pm 

 At Arukah Sanctuary, we offer a wide range of activities and programs designed to promote socialization, Bible Reading, Sing along,  physical activity, mental stimulation, and overall well-being for seniors. Our daily schedule includes socializing and making new friends, as well as engaging in arts and crafts, exercise and fitness classes, music and entertainment, and games and puzzles. We also offer cooking and baking classes, education and learning opportunities, and physical therapy sessions to help with mobility and dexterity issues. Additionally, we provide meals and snacks throughout the day, as well as day trips to local attractions and destinations. Our pet therapy sessions feature trained animals that provide companionship and stress relief, while our outdoor spaces are perfect for gardening activities. We also offer mental health support and counseling services, health checks and screenings, and volunteer opportunities to help with activities and provide companionship. cultural events that celebrate diversity, computer classes to learn basic computer skills, and outdoor activities like walking groups and picnics, there's something for everyone at Arukah Sanctuary. 

Arukah Sanctuary, we understand the importance of nourishment and comfort in our daily lives. That's why we provide two delicious main meals per day, carefully prepared by our experienced chefs to cater to the tastes and dietary needs of our elderly guests. Our menu is designed to be easy to manage, with a focus on comfort foods and familiar flavours that are sure to please. In addition to our main meals, we also offer a selection of snacks throughout the day. We are committed to providing a warm and welcoming  experience that leaves you feeling full and content.
